Toyota is set to launch the all new 2014 Toyota Corolla later this year. Thanks to the internet, a couple of key details about the new sedan have been revealed. The first glimpse of the next-generation Corolla’s design was at the 2013 Detroit Auto show.
Reportedly, the 2014 Corolla will continue to use a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine though Toyota’s Valvematic continuously variable valve timing system has been added. A four-speed automatic (oh yeah!) will be offered in the base model, although the manual transmission now has six gears and other trim levels can be had with a CVT. As with most new models, engine output and fuel economy should improve slightly over the previous model.
With the 2014 Toyota Corolla you will be able to chose from the base, LE, S and Eco trim levels, with a couple of improvements having been made to the materials and equipment offered inside the cabin. Softex leather will also be available for 2014, as will push-button start and a nav system. While Toyota has not officially confirmed any of this information, we won’t have to wait too much longer before getting the official details on the newest Corolla.
If you can’t wait for the 2014 version, the 2013 Toyota Corolla is still a great vehicle and Victory Toyota has a great selection to choose from. Just take a look at our Corolla inventory and then call or come by today!
